Kid2Kid3Kid1

Aleid Schipper and Hank Beermann came to South Africa with Dreamcatcher as a couple with the goal to make a difference as they travelled. Their passion is to assist children to develop and grow through education and to contribute to eliminate barriers to achieving these goals for the children.

Hank volunteered his vast expertise in school management with principals, on a project Dreamcatcher developed with him to assist School Principals to increase productivity of assist school principals and teaching staff thus to aspire to achieve higher levels of school achievement of learners and management in the school. Aleid volunteered her expertise is in special needs education into schools along their way as they travelled with Dreamcatcher.

The footprint Hank and Aleid left is that of a lasting legacy and they hope to return to South Africa to make a further difference in Dreamcatcher identified schools and communities in 2015 and to discover more of the country (they included sight seeing along the way as they volunteered their route around the country).

This year Hank and Aleid are involved in assisting Dreamcatcher to help children with potential to further their school education and help our with their school fees. Future projects include helping us out with projects to acquire resources needed for school and after school activities to grow a healthy mind, body and outlook on life and their future.

The children assisted by Hank and Aleid in 2013 are on the photos on this page. Two attend schools in Stilbaai and one is at the High school in Albertinia.

Thank you Hans and Aleid says children , their parents and guardians!
