The tour includes a Cook-up with Kamamma, various interesting stops along the way and it is possible to end having a Cook-up with Kamamma at her comfortable homestay where you can spend the night in comfortable, friendly surrounds.. Passionate about our country and its people Kamamma Mandy was the first woman from politically disadvantaged communities to quality as a tour guide in the Western Cape.

“We have a long term commitment with Dreamcatcher who we have been working with for many years. Dreamcatcher fearlessly believed in giving people who were disenfranchised the chance and embraced the ideal of giving our owner Mandy, a chance, mentoring and assisting us to break into the tourism and accommodation industry. We work side by side with them to make a difference in the communities and we share our “Real South Africa” with our visitors, offering a combination of “must see tourist visitor experiences” and the chance to connect with the people, shop where the locals shop and enjoy social interaction which exposes the innate universal beauty and benefits of interaction between the visitor, the country and its people, where the environment is important but placed in context with the people who are its custodians. This is the legacy of our tours, it is who we are.”

Come away with us to discover our land. You will recognise our owner Mandy as her beaming face welcomes you to our shores; proudly dressed in traditional attire, making sure, in various local languages in which she is proficient, that you are most welcome everywhere.
